Sourdough #1: how to cultural infrastructuring with Katharina Spanlang from Festival der Regionen
Von der zyklischen und transformativen Natur von Sauerteig inspiriert, organisiert servus.at zusammen mit Tomiris Dmitrievskikh eine Reihe von Workshops mit Künstler:innen und Kollektiven, die auf partizipative, gemeinschaftliche und „regenerative” Praktiken spezialisiert sind.
Der erste Termin findet mit Katharina Spanlang, Mitglied des Vorstands des Festivals der Regionen (https://fdr.at), statt. In dem Workshop wird die Praxis des FdR als Chartographie von Praktiken der Kooperation, der Gemeinschaftspflege und des Aufbaus kultureller Infrastrukturen erforscht.

#endof10, Cloud Clinic und Abandon-Windows-Party mit Gästen
Als Reaktion auf das Ende des Supports für Windows 10 am 25. Oktober wird die Community rund um die österreichische Medienkunstinitiative servus.at – Kunst und Kultur im Netz gemeinsam alternative Betriebssysteme für Smartphones und Laptops sowie befreiende Arbeitsabläufe erkunden, die uns von Design- und Kommunikationswerkzeugen großer Unternehmen unabhängig machen.
Wenn dein Computer nach 2010 hergestellt wurde, gibt es höchstwahrscheinlich keinen Grund, ihn wegzuwerfen. Mit einem aktuellen Linux-Betriebssystems kannst du ihn noch jahrelang weiterverwenden. Die Installation eines Betriebssystems klingt schwierig, aber du bist nicht allein :) Nimm an der #endof10 Cloud Clinic Session teil und übernehme die Kontrolle über deine eigene Hardware!

🍞 STRUDEL-WORKSHOP 🌀🍞
In diesem Workshop stellen wir Strudel vor, ein intuitives Tool zum Komponieren und Aufführen von Musik direkt in Ihrem Browser. Am Ende des Workshops habt ihr die Grundlagen gelernt, sodass ihr euch sicherer fühlt, Musik in eure Lieblingsgenres auf unterhaltsame und ungewöhnliche Weise zu kreieren. Wir werden auch Zeit haben, um gemeinsam vor Ort und mit einer florierenden Online-Community in einer kollaborativen audiovisuellen Umgebung zu jammen :) Komm vorbei und mach mit! Es gibt auch leckeren, hausgemachten Apfelstrudel.🍎🍎

Sourdough #1: How to Cultural Infrastructuring with Katharina Spanlang from the Festival der Regionen
Inspired by the cyclical and transformative nature of sourdough, servus.at is organizing a series of workshops with artists and collectives specializing in participatory, collaborative, and “regenerative” practices, in collaboration with Tomiris Dmitrievskikh.
The first event will feature Katharina Spanlang, member of the board of the Festival of Regions (https://fdr.at/). The workshop will explore the practice of the FdR as a cartography of practices of cooperation, community building, and the development of cultural infrastructures.

In response to the end of Windows 10 support on 25th October, the community around the Austrian media art initiative servus.at – Kunst und Kultur im Netz will collectively explore alternative operating systems for phones and laptops, as well as liberatory workflows that free us from corporate design and communication tools.
If you bought your computer after 2010, there's most likely no reason to throw it out. By just installing an up-to-date Linux operating system you can keep using it for years to come. Installing an operating system may sound difficult, but you don't have to do it alone. Join the #endof10 Cloud Clinic Session and take control of your own hardware!

In this workshop, we will introduce Strudel, an intuitive tool for composing and performing music right in your browser. By the end of the workshop, you'll have learned the basics so you feel more confident to approach creating music in your favorite genres in a fun and unusual way. We will also have some time to jam together locally and with a thriving online community in a collaborative audiovisual environment :) Komm vorbei und mach mit! Es gibt auch leckeren, hausgemachten Apfelstrudel.🍎🍎
